1919 10s SG96 Used Specimen Forgery

A recent listing by a very reputable US auction company included this very obvious forgery.

Listed as 'lightly canceled, SUPERB' !

With not too much effort its possible to quickly see that this is a SPECIMEN example that has the specimen overprint reduced and a forged cancel applied.

How this skipped the examination is worrying.
